The 2021 Festival in Review
Creating Nordisk Panorama Film Festival 2021 has been an adventure that turned out better than anyone of us could wish for.
During six days in September we gathered filmmakers from all of the Nordic countries to screen their films for an excited audience! Decision makers, commissioners, producers and directors from all over the world took part in our market, forum, meetings and networking opportunities.
A great mix of people from Malmö and from the international film industry enjoyed our film screenings, master classes and seminars. We actually broke our all time ticket sales record – it seems like people have been hungry for culture experiences.
The 32nd edition gathered an audience of more than 18.700 for our events in Malmö despite capacity restrictions at all venues. In addition, our industry events attracted over 800 accredited filmmakers and decision-makers from all over the world.
We would like to thank all of you who participated in this year’s festival, and we really hope to see you in Malmö again next year!

Programme Release at Far i Hatten
It is finally time to drop this year’s programme and we are so excited to be hosting the release party together with our friends at Far i Hatten! From 26 August, you will be able to grab a festival paper with the programme and secure your seats for the screenings on our online ticketing site.
Films in Competition 2021
Out of 497 submitted films, 62 have been selected to compete in five competition categories for the Nordisk Panorama Film Festival Awards 2021.

Nordisk Panorama goes Pride
Nordisk Panorama Film Festival is co-hosting film screenings and directors talks at WorldPride in Malmö. We are also giving extra attention to the LGBTQIA + theme in this year’s edition of Nordisk Panorama Film Festival in September.
Opening Films
This year’s opening films are intimate portraits that invite us to different realities. Cannon Arm and the Arcade Quest portrays the importance of a strong social community to fulfil your dreams, A Mother’s Body is about the relationship that we have to bodies and physical labour.
