Kimberley Motley came to Afghanistan for the money. She is the only woman and only foreigner with a license to litigate in Afghanistan's courts. Having grown up in poverty herself, she wants to be a strong role model for her kids and to secure their future. But Afghanistan's corruption and the lack of women's and human rights arouses an unexpected desire to stay and fight for justice. Threats and insecurity make life tough. And nobody knows what will happen when the international troops leave.
