Arriving in Cairo on assignment on 27 January 2011, documentary filmmaker Omar Shargawi could not have predicted that a day later the streets would erupt in one of the most important revolutions of this century. With fellow filmmaker Karim El Hakim, Shargawi captured the revolution unseen by the world's media, away from the square, in the alleyways and streets.
