Fuglen der kunne spå
Sadjad is 10 years-old and lives with his mother, sisters and brothers in Isfahan, a city in Iran. Every day after school Sadjad and his friends meet at the square in front of the largest mosque in the city. They try to sell fortunes, written by the known poet Hafez, to passers-by. It is hard work, but Sadjad places honour in helping his family so the children can go to school. Sadjad wishes for a bird that he can train to pick fortunes from a box.
