Erna Kanema lives in Reykjavik with her Icelandic mother and Zambian father. One summer, they travel to Zambia. Erna meets her Zambian relatives for the first time, visits her grandfather's village and learns how to dance, Zambian style. She returns to Iceland with better awareness of her roots.
