School of Hope
School of Hope
The poorest are worst hit by the climate change. A decade-long draught has forced the nomadic tribes to settle at the foothills of Atlas Mountains in Morocco; only 30 families remain of the Oulad Boukais tribe. They struggle not only against the harsh nature, but also against Government indifference; they have no health care, no roads, no schools. The nomads have decided not to give up and move to cities. In order to ensure a better future for their children, they have built a small school and called it School of Hope. But the drought continues to threaten their hope. Will they find a solution?
