Kapten Kiddo

On September 23, 2014, documentary filmmakers Finn and Kristina were told that the baby they were expecting, Kapten Kiddo (Captain of the Belly!) had died. Their camera depicts their experiences from the day they became pregnant, through the baby’s heart disease and death, until the birth of their second child, and their wedding in August 2016. The material gives insight into the experience of loss and managing tragedy. A film about grief and the fragility of life but most of all, about love.
