Mirgorod, Searching For a Sip of Water
Mirgorod, í leit að vatnssopa
The name of the Ukrainian town of Mirgorod has two meanings: Peace and World. This film was made during the Russian-Ukrainian war, although the town is far from the front line. Children play with toy guns and men in uniform are a frequent sight. The quality of the town’s water and soil make for delicious vegetables. Good food is important here, and might be part of the reason Ukraine has attracted invaders for centuries. The latest one is the Russian Federation.
