Companions, Tales from the Closet
Väninnor, berättelser från garderoben
Five women, between 60 and 75, talk about their lives from the Thirties onwards. Their talk is of meetings with other women and budding love, but also about self-hatred and secretive relationships. They have been forced to challenge convention and face their fear of being different, to risk alienating friends, relatives and colleagues for what they consider natural and beautiful but which can be strange and repellent to others.
