Children Deported: Negin
Asylbarna: Negin
After four years in Norway, 13 year-old Negin and her family were deported from the small Norwegian town of Farsund to Iran. During their time in Norway the family converted to Christianity. Apostasy is illegal in Iran, and the family risks severe punishment, but this was not enough to convince the Norwegian authorities to allow them to stay. Back in Iran the family was denounced by their relatives, and fearing for their safety they had no option but to flee once again.
