Hemen

A story of a Kurdish man who fled his native Iran in the 1990s. Hemen Rohmi was persecuted in his home country by the Iranian government and many friends and relatives were killed. Putting himself in the hands of human traffickers, Hemen made the long and dangerous journey to Finland. This documentary is part of the "Me and the Refugee" project where seven filmmakers from Helsinki show the human faces behind the refugee crisis in Europe.
