Dear Director

In 1980, American jazz pianist Kazzrie Jaxen saw Ingmar Bergman's movie 'From the Life of the Marionettes'. She wrote him a sixteen-page letter, saying the movie changed her life. A dramatic inner journey helps her understand that she is not alone in her own body. Hidden inside a small lump of fat under her skin rests the remains of her unborn twin. The film is based on an actual fan letter written to Ingmar Bergman. Kazzrie Jaxen stars as herself.
