Portal to Peace
Fredens Port
In countries which have no tradition of cremation the churchyards are filled up. In order to make room for new graves the remnants of the dead bodies are dug up some years after the funeral. The relatives are asked to take part in this ritual. It happens every morning in a churchyard in Havana, which is the base for this cinematic poem about life subjected to destruction. The music of the film are requiems by various composers.
