The Arctic Fox
Refurinn - heimskautahöfðinginn.
A poetic documentary and the story of a miracle: the survival of arctic foxes in the harsh Icelandic environment. After a long and cold winter a vixen gives birth to her cubs. The cubs are born blind and are weaned from their mother only 10 weeks old. After a couple more weeks, the cubs leave the den, by then mostly managing on their own. They find mates and mark their territory. One year on, they are bringing up a new generation of cubs with their first litter.
