Big Nordic Win at IDFA
IDFA was this year back to its pre-pandemic state with an ambitious programme, new venues, and many international guests. The big winner of the festival was Apolonia, Apoloniaby Lea Glob which took home the Best Film Award in the International Competition. Also, Jasmin’s Two Homes by Inka Achté and Hanna Karppinen received a Special mention in the Youth Documentary Competition. Norddok II Seminar
We are excited to collaborate with the Danish Film Institute on their Norddok II seminar taking place on 5 & 6 December in Copenhagen. The two days will have a focus on storytelling, project development, and networking, and will bring together the recipients of documentary support from Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and representatives from the Danish Doc community.

Names in the News
Anna J. Ljungmark has been hired as the new Documentary Film Commissioner at the Norwegian Film Institute. Ljungmark is an experienced producer and consultant working with House of Real. Her latest production was GABI – between ages 8 and 13.
