Festival Interns at Nordisk Panorama Film Festival

Do you love short films and documentaries? Do you have a burning passion for planning events or communication and love working with people?

Then we’d love for you to be part of the Nordisk Panorama Film Festival team 2023. We’re looking to fill the following positions:

  • Festival interns – planning and producing the festival
  • Communication interns – working with text production and editing, photography/video, graphic design and web/app/social media publishing
  • Guest interns – welcoming our community of 900 film professionals

Whether you will be working closely with the communication or the planning of the festival, the internship will include creating the best experience possible for our audience as well as industry professionals.

As part of our intern team you will assist our managers and coordinators in the day to day work, giving you a 360 ° perspective of what it takes to build a film festival, as well as insight into the film industry.

You’ll be part of a team with high ambitions and an informal and collaborative atmosphere. The film festival includes events and experiences engaging the audience: seminars and Q&As with directors and producers around films, innovative experiences and much more.

The festival programme is brand new every year, and your creative input is important in the development of events as well as their execution. If you’re a quick learner, able to juggle different tasks, and have an eye for details, you’ll fit right into our team.

Formalities

The 34th edition of Nordisk Panorama film festival is held in Malmö 21-26 September 2023. The festival also includes a co-financing forum and a film market for the Nordic and international film industry. The festival intern & communication intern positions are based at the festival office in Malmö.

The intern positions are unpaid, but we promise you challenging tasks, team support and a guaranteed steep learning curve. We’re primarily looking for interns in the period May – October. Ideally you can work with us full time or almost full time from June and up until after the festival in September, but we’re flexible with the duration and time frame of the internships.
