The 32nd edition is almost here – And this year Nordisk Panorama film festival will be back in the cinemas of Malmö. Discover the best of Nordic docs & shorts with us as a co-worker!
After spending a long time apart from each other we are very happy to announce that this year’s edition of Nordisk Panorama will be back in the cinemas of Malmö in September! We are now looking for great colleagues and film enthusiasts that want to join the crew during the film festival 16–21 September.

Get the chance to work at two of Malmö’s most cosy cinemas, Panora and Spegeln! During your shift you will assist our Venue Managers with checking tickets before each film screening at our cinemas, help out with our Audience Award and other cinema related tasks.
Ticket desk volunteer
Be the first person that our guests meet and remember with a smile! The Ticket Desk is the place to be if you’re a responsible and service-minded person who is comfortable with a computer. You will assist our Ticket Manager at Panora with ticket sales, giving information and answer questions regarding the festival and the programme, making sure our guests have everything for a fantastic festival experience!
A role full of exciting elements! The shifts include welcoming guests, checking guest lists and tickets. You will also assist our Event Coordinator with rigging, running errands, transport and decorating for events so it looks great when the guest arrives.You are organized and communicative, very outgoing and someone who doesn’t mind a late night or two. This is a great role for someone with an interest in gaining some event production experience!
Cinema Walk volunteer
Be the helping hand and festival ambassador of the Cinema Walk project at Mitt Möllan or walk with our Industry guests around the city watching short films and showing them Malmö in a different way. This can be your chance to fulfill your secret dream of being a guide for a day! No previous experience required, just a good mood.
Take care of all of our fantastic guests at our Guest Dest (at our Festival hotel) together with our Guest Manager! Requirements: have very good English and communication skills; for answering emails, phone calls, assisting online meetings and so forth.
The Guest is the first point of contact for delegates visiting our festival and is always buzzing with industry professionals. The role involves meeting and greeting people when they first arrive at the festival, registering them, providing them with their accreditation passes and any additional information they may require. Requirements: have very good English and communication skills; for answering emails, phone calls and help out where is needed. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone thinking of a career in event management or hospitality!
Seminar volunteer Assist our Seminar Coordinator with welcoming guests and audience before each seminar.
Help guests if they have any questions, show them to the right place and welcome them with a warm hello!
Digital event host
During our digital events we need service minded persons that can help us keep everyone happy and satisfied while the event is rolling. You will assist with technical aid during online events and Zoom meetings. Keep record of participating meeting members and call in missing decision makers.
This is where ideas for films become a reality during the festival days! Help the Forum team with checking badges, keeping the venue clean and organised, giving information to participants, setting up desks and computers, and preparing rooms for meetings. Come and get a glimpse of the documentary projects that will play at the festival in future years!
There is a lot going on at Scandic Hotel Triangeln during the festival week, and you can be a part of it! Assist the Market team with the different events happening at the market, such as checking accreditations, tech support and assist at pitches, meetings and seminars. Also help the guests at the market desk with questions during the day.
In case of a volunteer call in sick and will no longer be able to attend to their scheduled shift: Volunteer Coordinator will call in stand-by back-up volunteers to fill up those shifts. You are on stand-by during a back-up-helper shift and must be available in/close to Malmö and the festival (30 mins to location). But if the schedule runs smoothly and as planned, the back-up volunteer will enjoy a free day!
An exciting role for you who have previous experience with photographing! In this role you will document events, screenings, installations and happenings for website, social media and internal use for Nordisk Panorama. Camera experience is essential, as well as your own professional equipment. A fantastic opportunity to be creative and at the same time have access to all parts of the festival!
In this team you will help the logistics coordinator transporting and carrying things around the city so all festival venues get the right things at the right time, in the right place. You need to be quick on your feet, be comfortable with heavy lifting and have a good and friendly attitude. If you like to be where the action happens, then this volunteer role is for you!
Decoration and office volunteer
Help us create the most awesome festival experience! During your shift you will assist the office team with putting up posters around Malmö, preparing tote bags, creative crafts for the festival and a lot of more fun that brings joy to everyone’s experience.
